EQUAL Access Clinic

Equal Access is a network of student-run free healthcare clinics established by the University of Florida College of Medicine. Pre-medical and health professional student volunteers in collaboration with the University of Florida faculty and staff provide care for the medically underserved in the community.  Clinics are held most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Gator-2-gator

The Office of Student Counseling provides confidential, short-term, personal counseling to the graduate, medical, and physician assistant students in the College of Medicine. The Gator-2-Gator program utilizes competency and standards-based training and requires participants to demonstrate proficiency in all required competencies and standards of their respective mental health professions, inclusive of the individual and cultural diversity competency (Accreditation Standard II.A.2.c.). Individual and cultural diversity competence is vital to all parts of counselor development and competence. It is incorporated into all areas of supervision, training seminars, evaluations, and professional activities (Accreditation Standard II.C & D.).
